우선 GCC로 부터 받은 패키지를 열었을 때, 내가 해야할 일은 Jaggad의 빕 숏을 테스트하고 그들의 열정을 시험하는 것이었다. 첫번째로 나는 아마도 Jaggad의 빕숏에서 Rapha 의 클래식 빕 숏 라인을 모방한 것 같은 첫인상을 가졌고 클래식 빕숏은 이미 수 많은 미디어에서도 호평을 받았던 좋은 평을 가진 제품이다. 거제도에서 이루어진 GCC와 GRCC의 조인트 라이딩에서 첫 테스트를 하기로 하였고 130km 거리와 3910m 이상의 획득 고도를 목표로 이루어진 코스에서 아주 습한 환경에서 실행되었다. 그렇게 한시간이 지나고 나는 Jaggad의 빕숏에서 그 기능을 확인 할 수 있었고 패드의 쿠션은 충분히 습한 환경에서 놀라운 통풍 능력을 보여주었고 적당한 길이의 허벅지 밴드 그리퍼는 집 처럼 편안하게 다리를 감싸고 있었다. 재봉 라인은 다른 빕을 제작하는 브랜드들과 비교하여도 손색이 없을 정도로 움직임을 잘 이해하고 있었다. 라이딩을 마칠 때 까지 편안함에 초점을 맞춘 Jaggad의 클래식 빕 숏은 대부분의 사이클리스트들이 추구하는 빕의 규칙들을 잘 수행하였다.
After ripping opening the quintessential GCC re-packaging, an enthusiastic mauling and de-tagging ensued. It sprang to mind I may have been just a tad skeptical about JAGGAD’s take on the Classic Bibs, which I Initially suspected may be emulating the Rapha brand, the saviour of cycling apparel of which I have long been a purveyor. With this viewpoint, I put them through their paces during a joint GCC & GRCC ride on a Southern Island of the Korean Peninsula. The bibs were worn on a hefty club ride of 130km with no less than 3910m gain in the sub tropical heat and humidity, all in all this put them through the mill from the off. I came to my senses within the hour and can vouch that the touch and feel are well-appointed, the pad has depth and cushions the all important sweet spot, the length and hold at the gripper is as safe as houses. The stitching is above par when compared to most main sale bib retailers. Conclusively after a gruelling five hours on the saddle I can vouch that the feel combined with the bold cut and crisp aesthetic ensured they fitted more than comfortably during the entire ride and are perfectly in-line with “The Rules”
